隨著城市建設(shè)的發(fā)展和人民生活水平的提高，城市衛(wèi)生也得到了極大的改善，為人們提供了一種越來越美好的生活環(huán)境；目前，城市垃圾收集、運輸、處理技術(shù)尚處于初始發(fā)展階段，產(chǎn)生的大量生活垃圾，大多通過垃圾桶或垃圾斗集中存放，然后通過垃圾運輸車運走傾倒，以上垃圾處理方式遠(yuǎn)不能適應(yīng)城市建設(shè)、管理和環(huán)境保護(hù)需要，存在以下不足：
1、設(shè)置在居民區(qū)的垃圾-桶和垃圾斗處于敞開狀、容積較小，如果清理不及時，垃圾會從垃圾桶或垃圾斗中溢出，臭味四散，造成環(huán)境污染，增加了清理工的工作量和清理難度；
2、現(xiàn)在所使用的垃圾運輸車大多為敞口式，倒入的垃圾未經(jīng)壓縮，且儲存量有限、運送量小、運送成本高，在垃圾的運送過程中，垃圾隨風(fēng)刮揚，異味散布，再次污染；
3、固定的垃圾**占面積大，基建成本和人員成本高；
4、垃圾在處理過程中，工作人員無安全衛(wèi)生防護(hù)**，垃圾長時間存放所產(chǎn)生的有害氣體及細(xì)菌污染等，會危及到工作人員及周邊

1. The garbage-bin and garbage hopper in residential area are open and small in volume. If the garbage is not cleaned up in time, the garbage will spill out from the garbage bin or garbage hopper, and the odor will be scattered, causing environmental pollution, increasing the workload of the cleaner and the difficulty of cleaning up.
2. Most of the garbage trucks used nowadays are open-ended. The garbage dumped is uncompressed, and the storage capacity is limited, the transportation volume is small, and the transportation cost is high. In the process of garbage transportation, the garbage blows with the wind, the odor spreads, and the garbage is polluted again.
3. Fixed garbage facilities occupy a large area and have high capital and personnel costs.
4. In the process of garbage disposal, staff members do not have safety and health protection facilities, harmful gases and bacterial contamination caused by garbage storage for a long time will endanger staff members and their surrounding areas.
